The No. 22 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R of Jeremy Fletcher has lost its second place finish in Saturday’s opening Mustang Challenge race of the weekend at Road America due to a technical infraction.
The pole-sitting Dark Horse class entry, which finished runner-up to race winner Sam Paley, was found to have had camber in excess of the maximum permitted per the series’ technical regulations.
It has relegated Fletcher to a 25th and last place finish in the race and has promoted the No. 74 Robert Noaker Racing Mustang of Tyler Maxson to second.
The sister No. 13 RNR Mustang of Robert Noaker now completes the DH podium in third.
Fletcher has also lost all recorded lap times from the race as a result of the infraction.
Race 2 gets underway Sunday at 10:30 a.m. CDT with live coverage on Peacock, IMSA.tv and Ford Performance’s YouTube channel.
