A total of 35 cars are on the entry list for next week’s series-opening rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America at Sebring International Raceway.
The pre-event entry list, released by IMSA, features 14 cars in the Pro class, nine Pro-Am entries as well as 12 in Pro-Am 991 for previous-generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machinery.
All 23 of the new Type-992 models that teams took delivery of last month are currently listed.
While efforts from Kelly-Moss, JDX Racing, 311RS Motorsport, BGB Motorsports and Team Hardpoint EBM have already been announced the entry list features a number of other new driver-team combinations for the inaugural season.
It includes former Hurley Haywood scholarship winner Max Root in a joint Moorespeed-Wright Motorsports Porsche, as well as Hutton McKenna (Pro) and John Goetz (Pro-Am) in Wright-only entries.
Tim Pappas will compete in a third JDX Racing Porsche in Pro-Am, while Topp Racing will field new-gen Porsches in both classes for TJ Fisher (Pro) and Bill Smith (Pro-Am).
ACI Motorsports is also listed in Pro-Am for driver Curt Swearingin.
German squad MRS-GT Racing, which had announced plans for a two-car full-season effort, has entries listed in both Pro and Pro-Am but with no drivers confirmed.
The Pro-Am 991 class, meanwhile, sees a number of familiar teams from previous seasons of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA or other single-make Porsche series.
It includes entries from Kelly-Moss, Goldcrest Motorsports, Team TGM, Irish Mike’s Racing and TPC Racing and Porsche veterans such as Mike Levitas and Ted Giovanis.
While coming off a two-day pre-season test this week, Carrera Cup North America competitors return to Sebring next week, with opening practice on Wednesday followed by the pair of 45-minute races on Thursday (5:30 p.m. ET) and Friday (10:10 a.m. ET).
Both races will be streamed live on IMSA.tv with commentary from the IMSA Radio team.
