A total of 41 drivers are set for this week’s Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America season opening races at Sebring International Raceway.

The entry list for Rounds 1 and 2 of the single-make series features a bumper 22-car grid in the Pro class along with eight and 11 entries in Pro-Am and Am, respectively for the pair of 40-minute sprints.

With both 2022 champion Parker Thompson and runner-up Kay van Berlo graduating to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Pro class sees a nearly wide-open battle for this year’s crown.

Riley Dickinson, who is set for his third season and second with Kellymoss, is among the favorites in the No. 53 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

Other notable drivers that are set to fight for overall honors include newcomers Will Martin and Alex Sedgwick, both running JDX Racing-prepared Porsches, as well as McElrea Racing’s Tom Sargent and Thomas Nepveu as part of the Australian team’s expansion into the series.

MDK Motorsports will maintain its Pro class presence with entries for Jason Hart and Stefan Rzadzinski, while former Champ Car driver Dan Clarke is set for his full-time racing comeback in a Nolasport Porsche.

Newly named Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program driver Sabre Cook is another pre-season favorite, driving for Kellymoss, as part of the team’s seven-car effort that spreads across all three classes.

In Pro-Am, Alan Metni is set to defend his class title with Kellymoss and will again face stiff competition from teammate Efrin Castro as well as several other new and returning drivers.

MDK’s Mark Kvamme also returns to seek his second consecutive championship in a 11-car Am class that features a mix of season veterans and newcomers.

Official track action kicks off on Wednesday with a pair of practice sessions and qualifying ahead of both races on Thursday, with start times at 9:15 a.m. and 5:35 p.m. ET.

Live coverage will be available on PorscheCarreraCup.us, Peacock and IMSA Radio.
