Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro class champion-elect Loek Hartog scored his eighth pole of the season ahead of this afternoon’s penultimate round of the season at Circuit of The Americas.

The Dutchman in the No. 24 Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car posted a best time of 2:06.237 to edge out the No. 88 Baby Bull Racing entry of Michael Cooper by 0.169 seconds.

Zachary Vanier qualified third in the No. 9 JDX Racing Porsche, with Friday pace-setter Ryan Yardley and Jimmy Llibre completing the overall top-five for Topp Racing Performance and ACI Motorsports, respectively.

A number of lap times were deleted due to track limits violations during the 30-minute session, which ran without any red flags.

Alan Metni inched closer to the Pro-Am title with taking pole position in class aboard his No. 99 Kellymoss Porsche, which was 11th overall.

Top qualifying honors in the Masters class went again to the No. 68 Kellymoss entry of Chris Bellomo.

Race 1 gets underway at 3:40 p.m. CDT with live coverage on PorscheCarreraCup.us, Peacock and IMSA.tv.
