Fiat appears set to enter the GT4 arena, with a race-prepped Abarth 124 having been spotted testing at multiple tracks in Italy in recent weeks.
Spy photos provided to Sportscar365 from Monza on Thursday depict a GT4-style Abarth 124, which was taking part in an open test at the famed circuit.
It comes six weeks after the car, in a camouflaged livery, was seen testing at Autodromo di Franciacorta near Milan.
The production car, which features a 1.4-liter inline-four turbo engine, is on a shared platform with the Mazda MX-5 Miata, which currently competes in single-make series and other club racing events in Global MX-5 Cup configuration.
The Italian manufacturer has yet to officially comment on the race car, which is rumored to debut in the Italian GT Championship next year.
