Bullitt Racing has aligned with Aston Martin Racing to run Vantage GT3 cars in several series next year, in addition to working as the manufacturer’s official agent for Iberia.

Spanish outfit Bullitt, which was founded in 2016, is set to expand its racing business having primarily competed in the GT4 category with Mercedes-AMGs and McLarens.

The team plans to enter the Asian Le Mans Series in February with an undisclosed number of Aston Martin Vantage GT3s and also the Gulf 12 Hours in early January.

Its intentions for next summer include a two-car entry for the Michelin Le Mans Cup and select appearances in the 24H Series.

The last Aston Martin team to contest the full Le Mans Cup campaign was Beechdean AMR in 2019.

Bullitt announced plans to enter the series last year with a Bentley Continental GT3, however that entry did not materialize.

Its new status as an ‘Official Agent’ of Aston Martin Racing will involve the company selling Vantage race cars to customers in Spain and Portugal, as well as running track days.

“We’re all excited about the season ahead, the first year of what we consider to be a five-year plan to grow the team,” said Bullitt Racing team principal Steffan Pattrick.

“We’re not just back with a new project, but we’re back with a detailed, fully-costed and exciting race program to take us through the coming seasons of International GT Racing with an iconic, winning brand.

“Our team slogan is ‘more than just a race team’ and this project underlines this racing philosophy perfectly.

“We always look at the best in the business, that’s how we measure ourselves and we’ll strive to match them, and in time, become the strongest in our chosen category.”

Bullitt’s commitment to Aston Martin as a sales agent and partner team forms part of a “comprehensive and highly ambitious” five-year plan for the outfit going forward.

Aston Martin’s global customer racing network consists of several regional sales and support hubs including MSAA in China and Southeast Asia, CSJ Motorsports in North America and GB Motorsports in Australia and New Zealand.
