Cool Racing has announced it will enter the LMP2 class for the remaining rounds of the 2023-24 Asian Le Mans Series in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Swiss outfit will field an Oreca 07 Gibson for Bronze-rated Alexandre Coigny, Vlad Lomko and Lorenzo Fluxa for the three four-hour races that make up the rest of the schedule.

Both Coigny and Lomko drove for Cool in the European Le Mans Series this year, albeit as part of different lineups, while Fluxa makes his debut with the team ahead of his already-announced 2024 ELMS campaign.

Lomko meanwhile bids farewell to Cool after the Abu Dhabi finale as he joins Inter Europol Competition in the ELMS next term.

Cool’s LMP2 effort comes on top of its LMP3 program, which began in last weekend’s opening round of the season at Sepang.

The No. 17 Ligier JS P320 shared by Alexander Bukhantsov, Danial Frost and James Winslow claimed a class victory in the opening race, before finishing third in the second race after a drive-through penalty for an unsafe release.
