Earl Bamber Motorsport has entered a second Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo for this weekend’s Asian Le Mans Series finale in Abu Dhabi.

An entry list for the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi double-header features a second EBM car, the No. 98 car, which joins the New Zealand-flagged squad’s No. 89 entry.

It will be driven by factory Aston racer Marco Sorensen, Brendon Leitch and Bronze-rated Indonesian Anderson Tanoto, the same trio that piloted the No. 89 car for the opening round of the season at Sepang last December.

The No. 89 car had an all-new lineup for last weekend’s second round at Dubai comprising Gabriel Rindone, Jamie Day and Mattia Drudi, with the trio finishing third in the GT class in the second race of the event on Sunday.

All three drivers will pilot the No. 89 Vantage again in Abu Dhabi.

The extra EBM entry brings the entry for the Abu Dhabi curtain-closer up to 47 cars, one more than were initially slated to participate in Dubai.

Dragon Racing’s No. 8 Ferrari 296 GT3, AF Corse’s No. 82 Ferrari and Car Collection Motorsport’s No. 21 Porsche 911 GT3 R are all slated to return after being ruled out of action over the course of the Dubai weekend due to damage.

Elsewhere in the 30-strong GT class, The No. 19 Blackthorn Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has a revised lineup, with Giacomo Petrobelli replacing Reema Juffali alongside Jonathan Adam and Charles Bateman.

In the LMP3 category, Czech driver Dan Skocdopole returns to the lineup of the No. 26 Bretton Racing Ligier JS P320 Nissan in place of Australian teenager Griffin Peebles.

There are no further changes in either the LMP2 or LMP3 classes, which remain at ten and seven cars respectively for the season finale.
