United Autosports has finalized its LMP3 driver lineup for the 2018-19 Asian Le Mans Series, which gets underway on November 25.

U.S racer Jim McGuire and Britain’s Matt Bell will be joined by new signing Kay van Berlo in a Ligier JSP3 Nissan for the four-round championship.

17-year-old Dutchman Van Berlo raced full-time in the European Le Mans Series this year and won the 4 Hours of Monza with Italian LMP3 squad Eurointernational.

Bell and McGuire, meanwhile, shared a United LMP3 Ligier in this year’s Road to Le Mans races in support of the 24 Hours.

“I am extremely happy to be joining United Autosports for the 2018-2019 Asian Le Mans Series,” said Van Berlo.

“It feels fantastic to become part of such a great team with so many successes already. Hopefully we can add some more successes during the Asian Le Mans Series.

“It’s the first time for me competing in the Asian Le Mans Series. The championship is looking really strong and the calendar is mega exciting with some former and current Formula 1 circuits. I can’t wait to get the season started.”

United has now announced drivers in three of the four cars it has entered for its debut Asian Le Mans Series program.

Guy Cosmo, Patrick Byrne and Salih Yolic will drive the team’s sister LMP3 car, while Phil Hanson and ex-Formula 1 driver Paul di Resta have been confirmed in one of two Ligier JS P2 Nissans.
