Gianmaria Bruni and Marc Lieb will make appearances with Proton Competition in this weekend’s European Le Mans Series Four Hours of Monza.

The Porsche drivers will replace Matteo Cairoli and Dennis Olsen in Proton’s pair of Porsche 911 RSRs as a result of the clash with the Nürburgring 24.

Cairoli and Olsen will be competing with KÜS Team75 Bernhard and Manthey Racing, respectively, in the N24.

It will be Bruni’s first appearance in the series since 2012 and Lieb’s first since winning the GTE-Pro championship in 2011.

Lieb will join Christian Ried and Marvin Dienst in the No. 77 Proton car while Bruni will co-drive the No. 88 with Gianluca Roda and Giorgio Roda.

In total, 43 cars will tackle the second round of the season this weekend after last month’s opener at Circuit Paul Ricard.

Few other changes have been made to the entry list other than Felipe Nasr replacing Andrea Belicchi in the Cetilar Villorba Corse Dallara P217 Gibson.

Filipe Albuquerque has replaced Bruno Senna in the No. 22 United Autosports Ligier JS P217 Gibson, meanwhile.

On-track action will get underway at Monza on Friday while the race is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. local time on Sunday.
