Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Sarah Bovy will spearhead Iron Dames’ return to the European Le Mans Series in the LMGT3 class.
The three drivers, which took the final GTE-Am class victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship during the 8 Hours of Bahrain late last year, will line up aboard the Proton Competition-operated No. 85 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
It marks a return to ELMS racing for the all-female crew after a one-year absence, having last competed in the series in 2022.
During that campaign, the last with Ferrari machinery before switching manufacturers, Bovy and Gatting finished third in the GTE drivers’ standings, aided by a breakthrough victory in the Portimao finale alongside Doriane Pin.
Pin, a newly named Mercedes-AMG junior driver, will team up with Bovy and Gatting in WEC’s LMGT3 class to drive a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
The European Le Mans Series season kicks off April 14 with the 4 Hours of Barcelona.
