Ben Hanley has been confirmed as the first driver in United Autosports’ No. 22 Oreca 07 Gibson for the European Le Mans Series season.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona and 24 Hours of Le Mans class winner will embark on his tenth year in the ELMS and second with the Anglo-American squad.

His co-drivers have yet to be announced.

“I’m very happy to be back for another year and really looking forward to getting back on track,” said Hanley.

“In 2024, we started strong in ELMS, but we had a tricky end to the championship and didn’t end up where we deserved … so we are all determined to put that right in 2025.”

Team CEO Richard Dean added:v “Ben is a fantastic driver and truly a valued part of the United Autosports team, so of course we wanted him back for another season.

“This year, we’ve been on the ELMS podium, but we want much more … we can achieve so much more, and Ben will play a key role in realizing those ambitions in 2025.”

United earlier today announced its full LMP2 Pro-Am lineup of Marino Sato, Daniel Schneider and Oliver Jarvis, while also confirming it will be pursuing only two LMP2 entries in the series next year after running three in the most recent campaign.
