Job van Uitert and Reshad de Gerus will move to IDEC Sport for next year’s European Le Mans Series campaign.

The two drivers will partner up with team regular Paul Lafargue aboard the No. 48 Oreca 07 Gibson for the six-round championship, which kicks off with the 4 Hours of Barcelona on April 14.

The Dutchman and the Reunion-born racer replace Paul-Loup Chatin and Laurents Hoerr, who both won’t be returning to the team next season.

Chatin, who will step up to the FIA World Endurance Championship’s Hypercar class with Alpine next year, already confirmed in a post on social media last month that he will part ways with IDEC after a seven-year tenure that resulted in an ELMS title in 2019.

Instead, the French squad has moved to sign two of its LMP2 rivals from last season, with both van Uitert and de Gerus securing podium finishes last year.

Van Uitert, 25, joins IDEC after a two-year spell with Panis Racing that didn’t produce any race victories, but did see the Dutch driver take eight podiums and finish in the top three in the drivers’ standings in both seasons.

De Gerus, meanwhile, is set to drive for a third different team in three years in ELMS. He debuted with Duqueine Team in 2022 before joining Cool Racing to compete alongside Vlad Lomko and Jose Maria Lopez this past year.

IDEC, meanwhile, finished fifth in the LMP2 teams standings in 2023 with a best finish of second in the 4 Hours of Aragon.
