Tristan Vautier has joined CLX Pure Rxcing’s LMP2 lineup in the European Le Mans Series in place of Harry King.
The Frenchmann will share the No. 37 Oreca 07 Gibson with Alex Malykhin and Tom Blomqvist, with the season set to kick off with next month’s 4 Hours of Barcelona.
Vautier joins in place of British racer King, who was originally meant to form part of the lineup as announced in January.
King, however, will remain active as part of the newly announced Verstappen dot com Racing effort in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup.
Vautier will embark on his first ELMS season in a Pro-class LMP2 effort, having previously competed in Pro-Am entries with Algarve Pro Racing and Team Virage.
The Frenchman also remains part of Proton Competition’s customer Porsche GTP effort in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, including at next weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, and competed with RD Limited in the Asian Le Mans Series.
