ARC Bratislava will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a Ligier JS P217 Gibson, and not an Oreca 07, as initially listed on the entry list for the French endurance classic.

Team boss Miro Konopka has confirmed Endurance-Info the Slovak team will field an Onroak Automotive-developed prototype, in what’s believed to have been a typo that listed an Oreca instead.

Konopka said that he and 22-year-old Konstantins Calcko are two of the drivers for the effort, with the final driver set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

While only confirmed for Le Mans, additional European races have not been ruled out, with the team set to return to the Asian Le Mans Series for the 2017/18 season.

ARC finished 2nd in the 2016/17 Asian LMS LMP3 championship, having fielded a pair of Ginetta LMP3s that saw the team claim class victory in Buriram.

The ARC Ligier is one of a record 25 LMP2 entries set to take part at Le Mans this year.
