Only a few seats have yet to be officially confirmed for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, which for the first time in nearly a half-century will feature a 60-car starting grid. (En Français)

A recent string of driver announcements from Risi Competizione, Krohn Racing, Beechdean AMR and Team AAI has left only three seats that have yet to be filled for next month’s French endurance classic.

AF Corse has yet to name the third drivers for its two GTE-Pro class Ferrari 488 GTE cars, alongside full-season FIA World Endurance Championship pairing Gianmaria Bruni/James Calado (No. 51) and championship leaders Sam Bird/Davide Rigon (No. 71).

Andrea Bertolini, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Olivier Beretta have all been mentioned as possibilities to slot into the Amato Ferrari-owned team for the race.

KCMG, meanwhile, has yet to officially confirm the third driver for its Porsche 911 RSR in GTE-Am.

Joel Camathias has been the season-long pilot in the No. 78 entry alongside Wolf Henzler and Christian Ried but was not scheduled to take part in Le Mans in the Proton-run entry.

Former Porsche Junior driver Philipp Eng, meanwhile, is poised to complete Dempsey Proton Racing’s lineup in GTE-Pro, joining full-season drivers Richard Lietz and Michael Christensen in the No. 77 Porsche.

The deadline for driver nominations was last week, although changes can still be made under certain conditions.
