ASP Names Full Driver Crew for Lexus LMGT3 Effort

Timur Boguslavskiy steps up to WEC as part of Lexus LMGT3 effort…

Akkodis ASP Team has unveiled the full driver lineup for its FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 effort, notably bringing along reigning Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup champion Timur Boguslavskiy.

After previously announcing its two pro drivers in Jose Maria Lopez and Kelvin van der Linde, the Jerome Policand-led squad has now named the remaining four drivers that will its pair of Lexus RC F GT3s.

The lineup for the No. 78 car, spearheaded by Van der Linde, will see Boguslavskiy team up with Bronze-rated French driver Arnold Robin.

Policand previously told Sportscar365 that Boguslavskiy was an option for its LMGT3 effort, although the Russian driver also tested a Chevrolet Corvette C8.R at the WEC rookie test in Bahrain.

The No. 87 car, meanwhile will be piloted by Lopez, Takeshi Kimura and Esteban Masson, who made his WEC debut at the Bahrain season finale this year.

Japanese Bronze-rated driver Kimura has regularly competed in GTE machinery in both WEC and the European Le Mans Series with Kessel Racing in recent years.

Masson, meanwhile, made his WEC debut at the Bahrain season finale driving alongside Kimura earlier this year.
