Thomas Dagoneau will complete Larbre Competition’s lineup for next month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, forming an all-gentlemen driving squad for the team’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson.
Dagoneau, who tested with the French squad at the Prologue last month, will join Erwin Creed and Romano Ricci at the wheel of the Michelin-shod LMP2 entry in the French endurance classic.
Julien Canal, who took part in the FIA World Endurance Championship season-opening Total Six Hours of Spa with the team as a replacement to Fernando Rees, will instead be in the No. 23 Panis-Barthez Competition Ligier for Le Mans.
It will mark Dagoneau’s second start in the French endurance classic after his debut in 2013 in an Oreca LMP2 car.
