Porsche led the way in the penultimate test session at the FIA World Endurance Championship Prologue in Monza, with Neel Jani quickest again.
The Swiss driver reeled off a best lap of 1:32.020 in the No. 1 Porsche 919 Hybrid, edging out the sister No. 2 entry of Brendon Hartley by a mere 0.004 seconds.
The five quickest times came from Porsche drivers but none were able to eclipse Mike Conway’s pace-setting 1:31.332 set on Saturday afternoon, prior the yesterday night’s rain-soaked session.
The track was declared wet for Sunday morning’s three-hour session but dried out, with all 26 remaining cars setting lap times.
The No. 28 TDS Racing Oreca 07 Gibson of Matthieu Vaxviere led the way in LMP2, while Kevin Estre again topped GTE-Pro in the No. 92 Porsche 911 RSR.
GTE-Am, meanwhile, saw the No. 54 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GTE of Miguel Molina go quickest.
The No. 4 ByKolles Racing ENSO CLM P1/01 NISMO was the only car not to set a lap, with the Austrian-badged team packing up early after a rear wing-related failure on Saturday night.
A final three-hour session, which will close out the two-day test, is set to get underway at 2 p.m. local time.
