While much of Europe is still on summer vacation, all three of the factory LMP1 teams have been racking up miles at circuit across the continent in preparation for the second half of the FIA World Endurance Championship season. (En Français)

Toyota Racing completed a two-day test with its championship-leading TS040 Hybrids at Magny-Cours last week, while Audi and Porsche have been spotted at EuroSpeedway Lausitzring and Misano, respectively, for further development of its prototypes.

The three-month break between the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the fourth round of the season at Circuit of The Americas is nearly over, with the Lone Star Le Mans event now only four weeks away.

The Six Hours of COTA is scheduled for Sept. 20, as part of the doubleheader weekend with the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship at the state-of-the-art circuit in Austin.

It will kick off a stretch of five races in 11 weeks, over three continents, concluding with the Six Hours of Sao Paulo on Nov. 30.
