Porsche has revealed a pair of special 75-year anniversary liveries that will adorn Manthey’s two LMGT3 challengers for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Both the No. 91 and No. 92 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evos will feature silver liveries that pay tribute to the Porsche 356 SL, the first ever model from the Weissach marque to take part in the French endurance classic that won its class in the 1951 running of the race.

The two Manthey entries are the only Porsches on the grid at Le Mans this year following the brand’s decision to pull the plug on its Hypercar program in the FIA World Endurance Championship at the end of last season.

“We are not only the record holders for overall and class victories, but also the only manufacturer to have had at least one car on the starting grid at Le Mans without interruption since 1951,” said Porsche motorsport boss Thomas Laudenbach.

“This statistic makes us very proud. It underscores just how much Porsche relies on motorsport as a development platform.

“The internally ventilated disc brakes, the PDK dual-clutch transmission which is now indispensable and the 800-volt high-voltage technology are just three examples of this.

“We have brought these innovations from Weissach to production readiness through racing engagements, including at Le Mans. They are thus ‘raceborn’ in the truest sense of the word.”

The No. 91 Manthey DK Engineering Porsche will be shared by Ayhancan Guven, Timur Boguslavskiy and James Cottingham, while the sister No. 92 car, entered under the The Bend Manthey banner, is driven by Richard Lietz, Riccardo Pera and Yasser Shahin.

Lietz is targeting his third consecutive LMGT3 win at Le Mans, and his seventh class win in total, having been part of the winning Manthey crews in both 2024 and ’25.

The Austrian driver and his co-drivers also lead the WEC LMGT3 drivers’ standings with third-place finishes in the opening races at Imola and Spa.
