SMP Teases New LMP1 Car Ahead of Launch

SMP Racing has teased the all-new BR1 prototype ahead of its launch on Friday in Bahrain.

The Dallara-built LMP1 non-hybrid car is set to be presented in the FIA World Endurance Championship paddock this evening by BR Engineering President Boris Rotenberg, with details on its race program and potential customers expected.

Technical details of the car, including confirmation of its engine, will also be made.

ART Grand Prix President Sebastien Philippe has already been spotted in the paddock, with the French squad set to operate SMP’s entries in the WEC next year.
