While the unveil of the car is still just over one month away, Toyota has released a teaser audio clip of the new TS040 Hybrid, which will compete in this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship.
The new LMP1 contender features an evolution of the Japanese manufacturer’s 3.4-liter normally aspirated V8 engine, coupled with dual supercapacitor hybrid systems.
The car will be officially launched on March 27 at Paul Ricard, one day before the newly named official FIA WEC “Prologue” test at the Le Castellet Circuit, which will be mandatory for all teams.
