Porsche’s new-for-2017 GTE car has been spotted testing this week at Sebring, in preparation for its competition debut in January’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The rear-mid-engined Porsche, which broke cover in May, will be formally launched at the LA Auto Show next month, where further technical details will be released.
The German manufacturer will campaign two cars in both the WeatherTech Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship next year.
