The Hankook 24H Sebring has been red-flagged with less than six hours to go due to heavy rains that have led to a deteriorating of track conditions.

Creventic officials put out a Code 60 neutralization with 5 hours and 35 minutes left on the clock, with the decision made some ten minutes later to red flag the event.

A number of drivers had complained of aquaplaning and dangerous conditions around the 3.7-mile circuit.

The No. 91 Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R of Alfred Renauer continues to lead after just making a pit stop, ahead of Markus Winkelhock’s No. 18 Rutronik Racing by TECE Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo.

Overall leader Renauer came in for fuel during the Code 60, which turned to a red flag but was able to continue service and exit the pit lane.

Nolasport’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport has jumped the Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for the class lead, meanwhile.
