Father-and-son Stephen and Brenton Grove are set for their Hankook 24H Dubai debuts in a Herberth Motorsport-entered Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside Repco Supercars Championship driver Anton De Pasquale and Porsche factory ace Sven Mueller.

The No. 92 entry, revealed on social media on Sunday, will compete for GT3 overall honors in the Jan. 14-15 enduro to kick off the 24H Series.

The Groves, who took part in Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS in their own Porsche entry last year, are previous class winners and overall podium finishers at the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, all with Porsche machinery.

They had planned to undertake a globe-trotting schedule in 2020 including GTWC Asia and several European endurance races.

The Grove-backed entry is one of 13 GT3 cars currently on the latest entry list that will fight for overall honors, in addition to 15 other GT3 entries either in the Pro-Am or Am classes.

A total of 84 cars are provisionally entered for the Middle Eastern enduro, although that number is expected to be adjusted considering possible last-minute cancelations due to the current spike in COVID-19 cases globally due to the omicron variant.
