Dan Harper and Max Hesse will team up to spearhead Al Manar Racing by Team WRT’s lineup for this weekend’s Michelin 24H Dubai.
The pair of BMW factory drivers will pilot the No. 777 BMW M4 GT3 Evo, which will run under the Al Manar Racing banner as part of a new collaboration between WRT and Omani racer Al Faisal Al Zubair.
Al Zubair will share driving duties with Harper, Hesse, Ben Tuck and Bronze-rated driver Darren Leung.
Notably, Leung appears set to take on double duty at the Middle Eastern enduro, as he is also still listed aboard the No. 991 Paradine Competition BMW at time of writing on Monday.
Al Manar Racing and Al Zubair were aligned with Mercedes-AMG in previous years, notably taking a Gold Cup class win at last year’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa in a GetSpeed Performance-operated Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
“I’m extremely excited to get this collaboration started between Al Manar Racing & WRT alongside BMW M Motorsport,” said Al Zubair.
“WRT’s exceptional record speaks for itself when it comes to positioning the team as one of the best, if not the best in the business.
“I’m excited to get it all started this weekend at the 24 Hours of Dubai in #777 BMW M4 GT3 Evo alongside Dan Harper, Max Hesse, Ben Tuck & Darren Leung.
“Stay tuned to hear the complete 2025 program soon.”
WRT, for its part, returns to the 24H Dubai after a one-year absence, pulling out last year after the event was postponed as a result of logistical difficulties.
It previously won the event three times, most recently winning on its BMW debut in 2023, sitting only behind Black Falcon in the list of the most successful teams in the event’s history.
“I am very happy to have Al Faisal with us and it’s a pleasure to start our collaboration at the Dubai 24 Hours,” said team principal Vincent Vosse.
“I’ve always kept my eye on Al Manar Racing and I could see in the last few years that they have had a lot of success.
“It’s a new challenge for us and I’m really looking forward to the 2025 season with Team WRT representing Al Manar Racing.”
