Erwan Bastard, Paul Evrard and Antoine Doquin secured victory for Sainteloc Junior Team in the Hankook 12H Spa-Francorchamps.
The all-French trio, driving the No. 26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, crossed the line nearly two minutes clear of the No. 91 Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R of Daniel Allemann, Ralf Bohn, Alfred Renauer, Robert Renauer and Laurin Heinrich.
The German squad, competing with its new Type-992 Porsche for the first time, led 70 out of the 132 laps completed in race’s second half after charging to the lead in the second hour.
However, a delay during a late-race Code 60 saw the Porsche pit twice for fuel, which allowed the Sainteloc Audi into the lead by 40 seconds with 90 minutes left to run.
A late-race pursuit from the Herberth crew then went unrewarded due to a late puncture, leaving Sainteloc clear to capture the win.
The No. 27 Heart of Racing by SPS Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Ian James, Gray Newell and Roman De Angelis completed the podium, ahead of the No. 69 JP Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 piloted by Christian Klien, Norbert Siedler and Patryk Krupinski.
Much of the remainder of the top ten was made up of 992-class contenders, with the No. 930 HRT Performance Porsche 992 GT3 Cup of Adam Christodoulou, Eric Zang and Xinzhe Xie finishing fifth.
Red Ant Racing came home in sixth and ninth with its pair of cars, with Willi Motorsport by Ebimotors eighth.
They were split by the No. 16 Modena Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Francis Tjian, John Shen, Benny Simonsen and Mathias Beche, which finished seventh and captured GT3 Pro-Am honors in the process.
The No. 34 Land Motorsport Audi driven by Johannes Kirchhoff, Tim Vogler and Max Edelhoff took advantage of incidents for CP Racing, Hofor-Racing and E2P Racing to complete the overall top ten.
All three cars became involved in collisions late in the race, with E2P’s No. 90 Porsche colliding with the No. 11 Hofor Mercedes while CP Racing received a 20-second penalty after it made contact with the No. 71 Juta Racing Audi.
In GT4, Buggyra ZM Racing took a dominant victory through a controlled performance as the No. 416 Mercedes-AMG GT4 driven by Aliyyah Koloc, David Vrsecky and Adam Lacko finished three laps clear of the No. 488 TCL Motorsport by AR Performance BMW M4 GT4.
The class podium was rounded out by the No. 427 Lionspeed GP powered by SRS Team Sorg Rennsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Daniel Miller, Patrick Kolb and José Garcia.
