SRO America driver Chandler Hull is set for an expansive 2021 program in BMW machinery that will include his Nürburgring Nordschleife debut.

The Texan, in only his third year of professional racing, is set to take on a 40-plus race global schedule including runs in the Asian Le Mans Series, 24H Series, GT4 European Series, Nürburgring 24, as well as a return to Pirelli GT4 America.

While returning to GT4 America with BimmerWorld after a season with Classic BMW, Hull will make his debut with Walkenhorst Motorsport for a series of NLS races leading up to the N24, along with MDM Motorsport for GT4 Europe and ST Racing for this weekend’s Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai.

Hull will team up with Samantha Tan, Nick Wittmer and Jon Miller in Dubai in a BMW M4 GT4 while set to make his first GT3 start a few weeks later in the Asian LMS with Miller and BMW factory driver Nicky Catsburg in a Walkenhorst-entered BMW M6 GT3.

The GT4 America season, which kicks off at Sonoma Raceway in March, will see Hull paired with Miller, while Tyler Cooke will be his co-driver for the European races with Dutch squad MDM.

James Clay, Charlie Postins and Lance Boicelli will co-drive with Hull in the Nürburgring 24, with Miller and Postins filling in for the NLS races.

A return to the Indianapolis 8 Hour is also planned, with Bill Auberlen set to rejoin the lineup in Hull’s quest of defending his 2020 GT4 class victory.

“It’s been an ambition of mine to become a global driver,” said Hull. “Part of the strategy to accomplish this is making sure I drive the best tracks in the world.

“The season we have put together will accomplish this by having an enormous amount of global coverage and I am excited to add new series and the BMW M6 GT3 to my 2021 schedule.

“It will be a busy season for sure. However, it will be incredible to run with factory drivers like Nicky and Bill, as well as my other top tier teammates, especially Jon, who will be my teammate in four different series.

“I am also pleased to be able to continue driving BMW machinery and to be able to drive alongside most of the top BMW Customer Racing teams in the world.

“It’s truly incredible that we have been able to fit more than 40 races into a season and with only two conflicts within the Creventic 24H series, I am able to get four full series of racing completed in 11 months.

“I cannot wait to kick off this next season after finishing last year with a GT4 class win at the Indianapolis 8 Hour. Nothing would be better than continuing that momentum and starting the season off with a win.”
