Audi Macau Liveries Revealed

Audi has revealed its liveries ahead of the FIA GT World Cup in Macau next weekend.

The German manufacturer, which last won the event in 2016 with Laurens Vanthoor, will be represented by four Audi R8 LMS GT3s spread across three teams.

WRT will run two factory-supported cars under the Audi Sport Team WRT Speedstar banner, with Robin Frijns driving the yellow-trimmed No. 66 and Dries Vanthoor in the red No. 88.

Frijns finished second in last year’s event while Vanthoor, who shared the winning car with the Dutchman in this year’s Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, is set to make his Macau debut. 

Audi will also lend works assistance to the red, white and blue Team Rutronik car, which will have fellow debutant Christopher Haase behind the wheel.

The fourth Audi is a customer entry from Chinese squad Zun Motorsport Crew, driven by Hong Kong’s Adderly Fong.

A total of 15 cars are listed for the World Cup, which involves a 12-lap qualification race on November 17 followed by the 18-lap main event on November 18.
