Axcil Jefferies led the way during final practice ahead of Top Qualifying for the Nürburgring 24, putting a Lamborghini entry on top of the pile for the second session in a row.

Jefferies steered his Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo to a fastest lap of 8:15.225, which represented the best time from the three practice runs held so far.

The Zimbabwean driver undercut Hankook FFF Racing Team driver Mirko Bortolotti’s Thursday benchmark by just over three seconds.

Jefferies, who is teamed up with Michele di Martino, Alex Fontana and Tim Zimmermann, led qualifying practice three from Sven Mueller who mustered an 8:19.274 in the No. 44 Falken Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Third-quickest was Marco Wittmann in the No. 98 ROWE Racing BMW M6 GT3, ahead of Manuel Metzger who improved on his final lap to set the No. 4 Haupt Racing Team Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in fourth position.

The No. 102 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW completed the top five, but was shown as seventh in the qualifying classification due to the FFF and No. 33 Falken Porsche times from earlier sessions being quicker.

Third practice started under drizzling skies but the conditions improved over the course of the hour. Next up are the two Top Qualifying sessions that will determine the overall pole and front rows of the 122-car grid.
