Black Falcon has confirmed it will defend its Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup title with Maro Engel, Luca Stolz and Yelmer Buurman this season.

The trio will return to the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the five endurance races, while Engel and Stolz have added a Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe assault as part of an expanded program.

It marks the German team’s first full-time participation in the sprint series, formerly known as the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup.

Black Falcon will also enter a second Mercedes, running in the Silver Cup.

It will again be driven by Hubert Haupt and Abdulaziz Al Faisal who return for a second attempt at the class title after missing out due to technical problems at the season finale last year.

They’ll be joined by Patrick Assenheimer, the former HTP Motorsport regular who comes back to the series after a one-year absence.
