The British GT Championship grid has grown to 32 cars ahead of the season-opener at Oulton Park on Easter weekend, with 12 GT3 and 20 GT4 entries on the provisional entry list, which was released on Monday.
ENTRY LIST: Oulton Park
There have been few changes to the grid since the full-season entry list was released last month at Snetterton’s Media Day, although the addition of Ebor GT Motorsport adds another car to the GT4 field.
TF Sport, Barwell Motorsport, Team Parker Racing, Century Motorsport all bring a pair of GT3 cars to the top class, leading the programs for Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley and Ginetta, respectively.
They will be joined by single-car entries from Team ABBA with Rollcentre Racing and AmDTuning, both running the Mercedes-AMG GT3, Spirit of Race with a Ferrari 488 GT3, and Macmillan AMR’s Aston Martin.
In GT4 meanwhile, the entry is brought up to 20 with the return of Ebor GT.
The team took part last season with a Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 driven by Marcus Hoggarth and Abbie Eaton, but will return this year with Matty Graham and James Kellett at the wheel.
The remainder of the class mostly comprises a combination of Ginetta G55 GT4s and McLaren 570S GT4s, with Aston Martin Vantage GT4s, Nissan 370Z GT4s and Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MRs completing the field.
GPRM once again returns to the series with its Toyota GT86, but with a to-be-confirmed driver pairing.
The only other gap on the grid is Hoggarth’s co-driver in In2Racing’s second GT4 McLaren.
The season-opener at Oulton Park gets underway on Saturday, April 15, with two one-hour races on Monday, April 17. No track action will take place on Easter Sunday.
