Guven Quickest for Turkey in FP2

Ayhancan Guven took Turkey to the top of the timesheets in the second and final Free Practice session for the FIA GT Nations Cup in Bahrain on Friday afternoon.

He went 1.3 seconds quicker than the FP1 pace to post a 2:01.565 in the RAM Racing-run Mercedes-AMG GT3 that he shares with Salih Yoluc.

The Danish entry moved up to second quickest late in the session with a time 0.263 seconds off the pace, while Jean-Luc Beaubelique was third for France.

Mexico and Belgium rounded out the top five, while Rinaldi Racing’s German and Russian entries were classified 11th and 13th after turning their first laps in FP2.

All 18 cars set times in the 80-minute session which ran uninterrupted.

Qualifying will get underway at 4:05 p.m. local time to decide the grids for the pair of qualifying races.
