Jarett Andretti has scored his first overall pole for this afternoon’s Pirelli GT4 America Sprint race at Watkins Glen International, continuing McLaren’s dominance on the weekend.

Andretti took his No. 18 McLaren 570S GT4 to a best lap of 154.687, edging out Team Panoz Racing’s Ian James, who leads the Pro championship, by just 0.019 seconds.

It marked Andretti’s first outright pole in GT4 competition, having recently been upgraded to Pro status following a strong opening half of the season.

Gar Robinson qualified third in class in the No. 74 Robinson Racing Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, followed by teammate Shane Lewis in fourth.

The No. 66 TRG Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport of Spencer Pumepelly completed the top-five.

Michael Cooper, who topped Friday’s time sheets in the No. 10 Blackdog Speed Shop McLaren, could only muster the sixth quickest time, nearly a half-a-second down from Andretti’s pole-sitting time.

GT4 Sprint Am class pole, meanwhile, went to the No. 12 Ian Lacy Racing Ford Mustang GT4 of Drew Staveley, who qualified 7th overall.

Race 1 for GT4 America Sprint gets underway at 2:05 p.m. ET, with live coverage on the series’ official website.
