AutoTechnic Racing has signed Colin Garrett to partner up with Zac Anderson for the team’s Silver Cup title defense in Pirelli GT4 America.

Garrett, 23, joins the Connecticut-based squad after a double duty season with Rooster Hall Racing in which he competed in GT4 America’s Pro-Am class as well as take the TCX title in TC America.

“Joining forces with Zac and the AutoTechnic Racing team feels like a natural fit,” Garrett said.

“Together, we have the potential to make a significant impact in GT4 America this season, and I’m eager to see what we can achieve together.”

Garrett replaces John Capestro-Dubets aboard the No. 51 BMW M4 GT4. Capestro-Dubets took three Silver class victories with Anderson.

However, he missed out on the title after he was sidelined mid-season after suffering a back injury in a Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America crash at Road America.

In his absence, Anderson drove solo to his fourth and final win of the season at the same circuit.

“We are thrilled to have Zac and Colin spearheading our championship defense this season,” said team manager, Charlie Scott.

“Their combined skill, experience, and willingness to maximize this still rather new BMW chassis certainly has the potential to match and hopefully exceed the success we had last season.”
