Nolasport has committed to Pirelli GT4 America competition, with the team confirming a season-long campaign in the SprintX series.

The team will field a pair of Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in this weekend’s season-opener at Circuit of The Americas, led by the full-season pairing of Matt Travis and Jason Hart.

Mike Vess and John Capestro-Dubets, meanwhile, have been tabbed to co-drive the No. 46 Porsche GT4 at COTA, with the entries competing for Pro-Am and Am class honors, respectively.

“To say I am happy to be moving into the GT4 America SprintX season with Nolasport, Matt Travis and Jason Hart in a Porsche 718
Cayman GT4 Clubsport is an understatement,” said team principal Jon Scheurich.

“It has been great to race and win with them in 2017 and 2018 SprintX competition.

“The SprintX format checks a lot of boxes when you are considering where to race, I am pleased with what SRO has done with this championship making our commitment an easy choice.”

The team recently debuted the new-for-2019 machinery in last month’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season-opener at Daytona.
