RS1’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport has been declared the Silver class winner of Saturday’s Lone Star Enduro at Circuit of The Americas, following a post-race penalty applied to Kevin Boehm for his contact with the then race-leading entry of Spencer Pumpelly.

The two cars came together in the final ten minutes of the three-hour Pirelli GT4 America round endurance race that handed the overall win to the Pro-Am class pairing of Kenton Koch and Sam Craven.

Per a stewards’ bulletin issued Saturday evening, Boehm’s No. 51 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO was “wholly responsible” for the incident that damaged Pumpelly’s Porsche, which has resulted in a drive-through penalty converted to a post-race time penalty of 41 seconds.

It has handed the Silver class win to Pumpelly and co-driver Luca Mars and has provisionally dropped Boehm and co-driver Francis Selldorff to a fifth place class finish.
