Samantha Tan has announced that her eponymous ST Racing squad is set to make its TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa debut this summer with a single BMW M4 GT3.

Tan and the Canadian team confirmed their presence on the Spa grid via their social media channels, with the category and full driver lineup yet to be disclosed.

The event will bring the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS outfit into GTWC Europe competition for the first time.

It will also mark ST Racing’s second time on the Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli grid after Tan, Jon Miller and Nick Wittmer contested the 2020 Indianapolis 8 Hour in a BMW M4 GT4.

ST Racing was one of the first BMW customer teams to run the new M4 GT3 model when it entered the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai in January.

It also delivered the car’s first-ever victory when it won the 12 Hours of Mugello in March, before embarking on a GTWC America campaign for Tan and Wittmer.

ST Racing’s news of its Spa debut brings the number of confirmed BMW M4 GT3s for the race up to three, in addition to the Pro-class ROWE Racing and BMW Junior Team entries that are signed up for the full GTWC Europe Endurance Cup season.

Head of BMW M Motorsport Andreas Roos told Sportscar365 last month that the Munich manufacturer is hoping to add further Pro lineups to its stable for the race in July.
