The Slovakian team revealed earlier in the year that it would enter the Intercontinental GT Challenge season-ending race but with a Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Team owner Miro Konopka recently told Endurance-Info that his team has now rented a BMW for the race, replacing its initial plans of running Mercedes machinery.

Konopka and Konstantins Calko have competed in the International GT Open with a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 this season, while a return to the Asian Le Mans Series is also planned with a Ligier JS P2.

Andrzej Lewandowski and Kang Ling joined Konopka at the wheel of his Mercedes in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup opener at Monza in April.

The driver lineup for the California race remains unconfirmed.

An updated entry list for the Oct. 26-28 race is expected to be released soon.
