Repco has been named as the title sponsor of the 2024 Bathurst 12 Hour, replacing Liqui Moly after a decade run.

Announced on Saturday at the final round of the Repco Supercars Championship in Adelaide, Repco will add its name to Australia’s international enduro for the first time next year.

It builds on its expanding support for Australian motorsports, which includes Bathurst’s crown jewel, the Repco Bathurst 1000, and the Repco Supercars Championship itself.

Next year the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour will launch a ten-day Bathurst SuperFest event at the spiritual home of Australian motorsport, the GT3 endurance classic to be followed by the opening round of the Repco Supercars Championship the following weekend.

Repco celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022 and has been authentically linked to motorsport since the 1940s, contributing to Sir Jack Brabham’s Formula 1 World Championships in 1966 by building the V8 Repco engine that powered him to win his third and final F1 world championship.

The Repco Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on Feb. 16-19.

“Repco is proud to build on its association with the Bathurst community and become the major partner of the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour in 2024” said Repco CEO Wayne Bryant.

“Mount Panorama is a circuit steeped in history. The Repco Bathurst 1000 is famous all over the world, and in a very short time, The 12 Hour event has also earned its place as a global motorsport ‘must watch’ event.”

“The Bathurst 12 Hour has become the unofficial start of the circuit racing calendar in Australia and established itself as a must-win event for drivers and teams from around the world.”

Repco Bathurst 12 Hour event director Shane Rudzis added: “As Australia’s international enduro, the 12-Hour will not only bring the Repco brand to a passionate local audience, but a truly global one as well.

“Repco are investing heavily on the fan experience and access to the sport, which are hallmarks of the 12-Hour, so this is a perfect match for the event as it heads into an exciting new era.

“With new cars coming and even more on the horizon, the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour is poised for a strong period of growth heading into 2024 and beyond.”
