Team Goh has withdrawn its planned two-car McLaren 720S GT3 effort from next month’s Suzuka 10 Hours.

The Japanese squad, which had initially entered two of the cars under the McLaren Customer Racing Japan banner, is no longer listed on the latest version of the entry list for the Aug. 23-25 event.

A reason for the team’s withdrawn has not been made clear.

Sportscar365 understands that one of the cars was due to be driven by an all-IMSA lineup spearheaded by Renger van der Zande.

Goh made its international racing comeback this year in Super GT, fielding the McLarens in the GT300 category and had also announced plans to contest the Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli round.

The latest entry list, released on Monday, now features a total of 38 cars, including a McLaren for Formula 1 world champion Mika Hakkinen.
