Several leading GT4 teams have entered cars for the inaugural GT4 Sprint Cup Europe event at the Hockenheimring next month.

The event, which will be held at the DTM finale on Oct. 12-14, was announced in May to serve as a prequel for the new ADAC GT4 Germany championship next year.

RN Vision STS has committed a pair of BMW M4 GT4s for the two 40-minute races, while Allied Racing will run two Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MRs.

HTP Motorsport and Schuetz Motorsport will both compete with Mercedes-AMG GT4s, while the Ekris M4 GT4 will return to action with 2017 GT4 European Series champion Ekris Motorsport.

Reiter Engineering, meanwhile, will enter its KTM X-Bow GT4.

The races, reserved for Silver and Bronze-rated drivers, will take place at 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, and 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.
