Christodoulou Quickest in Second Practice at Road America

Adam Christodoulou laid down the quickest time of the second practice session for this weekend’s pair of Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS races at Road America, setting the mark for Bartone Bros Racing by RealTime.

Christodoulou reeled off a best lap of 2:03.234 in his No. 43 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo to edge out the No. 9 TR3 Racing Mercedes of Daniel Morad by 0.115 seconds.

Morad’s laste-session improvement bumped the No. 94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3 of Bill Auberlen to third overall but still first in the Pro class.

Adam Carroll made it three Mercedes in the top four in his No. 19 Esses Racing entry, followed by the No. 38 ST Racing BMW, which completed the top-five.

The No. 08 DXDT Racing Mercedes, No. 21 Conquest Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, No. 45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, No. 93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 and No. 91 DXDT Mercedes completed the top-ten.

The 60-minute session had a red flag roughly halfway through when the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche of Elliott Skeer stopped on track near Turn 5 with possible damage.
