Gottsacker Leads SIN Front Row Sweep in Portland Qualifying

Harry Gottsacker picked up his second pole of the season and will lead the field to green for Pirelli World Challenge GTS Race 1 at Portland International Raceway.

The young Texan, who started on pole in Race 1 at his home event at Circuit of The Americas earlier in the season, turned in a lap of 1:17.134 in his No. 69 Racers Edge Motorsports SIN R1.

Second place went to Mark Pavan who also took pole position in the Am category, completing a front-row sweep for Racers Edge and SIN.

Brett Strom of Classic BMW was third in his No. 113 BMW M4 GT4 that he shares with Daren Jorgensen, while Scott Maxwell was fourth overall in the No. 55 PF Racing Ford Mustang GT4.

The Team Panoz Racing Avezzano GT4 of Matthew Keegan completed the top five overall.

GTS Race 1 is scheduled for 4:40 p.m. PT this evening with live coverage at World-Challenge.com.
