Mikael Grenier will join JMF Motorsports to lead its Pro entry in GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, the team has confirmed.
As previously reported, the Canadian squad will field a single Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, with factory driver Grenier tapped to team up with team regular Michai Stephens.
Stephens, 33, previously raced for JMF in both Pirelli GT4 America as well as IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and is set to make his GT3 debut.
The No. 34 Mercedes-AMG will be going up against Random Vandals Racing, which confirmed a full-time BMW Pro effort with Connor De Phillippi and Kenton Koch last month.
“Mik brings a wealth of experience to help propel us to the front of the grid,” said CEO Danny Kok.
“Michai has been driving for us for many years and has shown he is ready for this next chapter in his racing career. We know that SRO is growing, and we believe this is a great series for our team to showcase our capabilities.”
In total, JMF will be represented by a total of five cars in SRO America this season.
It previously confirmed a two-car Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo effort in GT4 America, featuring Aston Martin Driver Academy graduate Mike David Ortmann.
The team will complement that with a two-car effort in TC America, running a pair of Toyota GR Corolla TCs for Antonio Constantino and Jonathan Neudorf.
