Acura has revealed the liveries for the pair of the RealTime Racing Acura NSX GT3 cars that will compete in this year’s Pirelli World Challenge.
The cars, to be driven by Peter Kox and Ryan Eversley, feature RTR’s traditional blue, white and orange color scheme, along with its signature “squircles” in an evolved design by Acura Executive Creative Director Dave Marek.
Marek was also responsible for the liveries on the pair of Michael Shank Racing Acuras, which debuted in last month’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.
“Our fans greeted the Michael Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3s with great enthusiasm, and we think they’ll be equally thrilled with both the looks and performance of the RealTime Racing cars in this year’s Pirelli World Challenge,” said Honda Performance Development President Art St. Cyr.
“Now we have two iconic liveries in two series representing Acura Precision Crafted Performance.
“We look forward to building on our history of success with RealTime Racing in 2017, and building on our strong start in IMSA with Michael Shank Racing.”
As previously announced Mark Wilkins and Tom Dyer will complete RTR’s lineup for the SprintX rounds, with their car designations still yet to be determined.
The PWC Sprint season kicks off next weekend in St. Petersburg.
