Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America racer Jake Walker will make his GT3 debut joining ST Racing at the Indianapolis 8 Hour.

Walker will team up with team co-owner Samantha Tan and BMW factory driver Neil Verhagen aboard the No. 38 BMW M4 GT3, which has been entered in the Pro-Am category for the event.

The American driver currently drives with Forty7 Motorsports in Super Trofeo North America, securing a podium finish last time out at Indianapolis.

He also joined Auto Technic Racing in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge at Lime Rock Park, securing two GSX-class podiums in a BMW M4 GT4.

“I’m very excited to race here at Indianapolis for my first GT3 race,” Walker said. “I’m looking forward to racing with Samantha and Neil, two very accomplished drivers, and working with the team.”

ST Racing secured the Silver Cup victory in last year’s Indy 8 Hour, when Tan teamed with Harry Gottsacker and Nick Wittmer.

“We are thrilled to have Jake Walker join our lineup for the Indianapolis 8H,” said Tan.

“He’s showed a lot of talent and potential in his race series’ this year, both in IMSA and Super Trofeo, and we look forward to working together in bringing home another win at the brickyard.”
