31 Full-Season Entries for Blancpain GT Series

Thirty one cars have signed up for the entire ten-round Blancpain GT Series in 2016, marking a significant increase and transformation for the SRO Motorsports Group-run championship.

Series founder and CEO Stephane Ratel has succeeded in his bid to have teams commit to both the Sprint and Endurance Cups, with nearly double the full-season entries compared to last year.

ENTRY LIST: Blancpain GT Full-Season

Belgian Audi Club Team WRT has five Audi R8 LMS entered, while Phoenix Racing, ISR and a two-car Saintéloc Racing effort also representing Audi on the grid.

Bentley Team M-Sport will pursue the GT Series title for the first time with two Continental GT3s, as will Nissan GT Academy Team RJN and Garage 59 for McLaren.

Attempto Racing will have two Lamborghini Huracán GT3s eligible for the overall classification, while it’s not certain yet if its third car will be another Lamborghini or the Porsche it will enter in the Endurance Cup.

Grasser Racing Team also has three Lamborghinis, with one of them being the sole entry in the Am Cup.

Rowe Racing will enter two BMW M6 GT3s that will entire championship, while Boutsen Racing enters its M6 GT3 in the Pro-Am Cup.

HTP Motorsport has the only two Mercedes AMG GT3s, while both of AKKA ASP’s AMG GT3s compete in the Pro-Am Cup.

Two of the three Ferraris entered are of the older 458 Italia spec (AF Corse and Black Pearl by Rinaldi), while Rinaldi Racing will be competing with both the 488 and 458 in Sprint and Endurance, respectively.

The full-season entry list is in addition to the entry lists released for the Sprint Cup season-opener at Misano, as well as the Monza Endurance Cup round.
