Next weekend’s Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup round at Hungaroring is set to feature 36 GT3 entries, with the series making its debut at the Eastern European track.

On the heels of last month’s Total 24 Hours of Spa, the field returns to action with the traditional two one-hour sprint races.

ENTRY LIST: Hungaroring

The No. 333 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 of Marco Seefried and Norbert Siedler and the No. 90 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 of Ezequiel Perez Companc and Raffaele Giammari are not listed on the entry list.

The sole Porsche in the Sprint Cup field, the No. 36 Team a-workx 911 GT3 R, has also dropped out.

However, this loss is compensated with the arrival of a second Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 entered in the AM Cup for Stephen Earle and David Perel and the return of the third Attempto Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 for Davide Valsecchi and Jack Falla.

Lucas Ordonez replaces Alex Buncombe and will drive alongside Mitsunori Takaboshi in the No. 23 Nissan GT Academy Team RJN Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, while Nicky Catsburg will compete with Stef Dusseldorp in the No. 99 ROWE Racing BMW M6 GT3 in all remaining races.

Rino Mastronardi takes Stéphane Lémeret’s seat in the No. 55 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 (AM Cup) and Daniel Keilwitz rejoins Steve Parrow in the Rinaldi-run Black Pearl Racing Ferrari 458 Italia.

Rob Bell heads to the Hungaroring as the overall Blancpain GT Series leader in the No. 58 Garage 59 McLaren 650S GT3 he shares with Alvaro Parente, followed by HTP’s Maxi Buhk and Dominik Baumann, who is a further 35 points down.
